Socialism is Slavery
Democratic socialism does not exist in the real world. Sure, it sounds nice; quality healthcare for everyone, affordable education, plenty of employment opportunities with fair living wages and access to quality affordable housing, make the rich pay their fair share, etc. However, the things Americans love and take for granted – Plentiful fresh food and basic necessities like toilet paper are available day and night in well stocked markets, instant access to information and entertainment, plentiful and affordable fuel, an endless variety of consumer goods that make life livable, are all made possible by the capitalist economic structure. If the private business profit-oriented incentive is removed, as is the case with socialism, there would be no motivation for one to compete or strive to improve anything. The more ‘socialist’ the economy becomes, the less efficient it becomes due to the reduction in choices and incentive.
“Why should I work? Why should I get an education if I can’t work? Why should I make any effort to achieve anything in this life if the government is just going to take it away? Why should I labor and toil so lowlifes and deadbeats can have an equal share?”
They label us so they can separate us into groups. Once separated they pit us against each other. “United we stand, divided we fall”. Spiritually bereft and hopeless masses is their goal. Socialism is slavery, make no mistake about it. I call myself a conservative because I believe in conserving a way of life for my family and future generations. No law is above God’s Law. Freedom and liberty should never be taken for granted. Whenever you get a chance to talk to someone from another country, ask them what brought them to America. As Americans, most of our ancestors came to this country in search of a better quality of life, one with more freedom. Let us not lose sight of how hard we’ve had to fight to get here. We’ve always had to fight to be free. Our ancestors had dreams and we are living those dreams now. Martin Luther King had a dream, and we are living that dream now. We are here now. America is and always will be the greatest country on earth because it is and always will be the land of the free and the home of the brave.
